Happy Friday everyone! I hope everyone had a great week! It has been a pretty quite week for me. As February is rapidly approaching it's end, Spring is on my mind. I have already started to see the Spring and Easter projects popping up on Social Media.
I was recently corrected when I used the work Clover instead of Shamrock, so I decided to do a deep dive and see what the difference was.
A shamrock is actually a Gaelic word meaning “little clover”. A clover must have three leaves to be considered a shamrock. If the clover has more or less, then it is not a shamrock. Hence, all shamrocks are clovers, but not all clovers are shamrocks. Mystery solved!
I had a chance to play a little bit this week and had some friends join me on YouTube live. If you are not subscribed to my channel yet, be sure to check it out. We have great fun and I typically give away my card to some lucky watcher.
I have also been working on my Spring kit, which I hope to release on March 2nd. I am making some finishing touches on it and of course getting a little playtime in with it as well. If you like pastels and water colors, you will love this kit.
I have some wonderful Spring kits from prior releases available in the shop. Be sure to check those out as well. Orange Shades of Spring is in our archives and is available for FREE if you are a backstage pass holder.
You will be able to download this as well as archived kits for free for an entire year.
If you are not ready to commit to a full year membership, you can try it out on a monthly basis with the monthly pass. This will entitle you to all monthly releases, including this set.
And now for our weekly Freebie! Here is a page from my personal Ben Franklin's Almanac. Ben Franklin was a wise, progmatic man. This March first page has a wonderful Cream of Leek Soup recipe and some advice on growing Leeks. It is great to use as backgrounds or for your junk journals.
It is part of a larger set that is available in the shop.
If you are a site member, you can download this for free over in the membership section under the Freebie tab.
Happy Crafting!
